It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Michael John Paul II, age 42, on 12/10/2024. He is preceded in death by his father Michael Paul and his grandparents. Michael mostly remembered as Mick was a loving fiancé, devoted father, and cherished family member who touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
Mick is survived by his beloved fiancé, April Hurst, his children—Jordan (11), Mikey(3), and Malachi (1) his mother Cheryl Paul, sisters Jenneda Love (Jon) and Mandi Knuuttila (Jay), many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him deeply.
A free spirit at heart, Mick lived his life dancing to the beat of his own drum. His infectious energy and zest for life left a lasting impression on all who met him. A gifted musician, Mick had a talent for creating music that spoke to the soul. His culinary skills were equally extraordinary, earning him the title of master chef, always delighting family and friends with his delicious creations.
In all that he did, Mick brought warmth, creativity, and love. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel special, and his legacy of love and passion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A Celebration of Mick’s life will be held on Monday, December 16th from 12:00pm- 3:00pm at the American Legion in St. Paul Park, MN. Family and friends are invited to gather and share stories, music, and memories as we honor the vibrant spirit of a man who truly lived life to the fullest.
Mick’s memory will forever be cherished, and his love will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
