Mike was born August 24, 1966 in Birmingham, Alabama, the son of Charles and Sherry Cabiness of Aliceville. He was employed as a security guard for Dynamic Security. Mike was a beloved husband, son, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family and watching Alabama football "Roll Tide". Before his decline in health, his true passion was being a paramedic, first responder and fire fighter. He loved his community dearly. Mike will be truly missed by all who knew him, especially his family; not forgetting his beloved best friend, Cinnamon, his dachshund, as she grieves with the family.
Honorary Pallbearers are Kris Hester, Deveren Wilkins, Jerome Hardiman, Adam Black, David Cabiness, Lance Eaves and Aliceville Volunteer Fire Department.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Aliceville Volunteer Fire Department or to Pickens County Ambulance Service.
