Mildred Von Den Bosch of Toledo, OH, formerly of Reisterstown, MD, died on September 8, 2024. Born in Baltimore on September 10, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Harry Bidinger and Julia Zientek Bidinger. On August 16, 1958, she married Charles George Von Den Bosch, and the couple made their home in Reisterstown. Mildred worked at the Maryland Cup Company for 12 years, the Rosewood State Hospital for 8 years, and retired from the Springfield State Hospital after 21 years.
Mildred was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and an avid fan of the Ravens and Orioles. A life-long animal lover, she enjoyed the company of the many chihuahuas she welcomed into her home over the years. She had a vibrant spirit and was always quick to share a kind word. In her free time, she enjoyed tending to her thriving windowsill garden.
Mildred was the beloved mother of Charles V. Von Den Bosch (Valerie) of Toledo, OH; grandmother to Vincent Von Den Bosch (Katelynn) of Lincoln, DE and Colin Gillette (Sarah) of St. Peters, MO; great-grandmother to Olivia and Julianna Von Den Bosch; sister of Raymond Bidinger; and sister-in-law of Ina Bidinger and Patricia Bidinger. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her brothers, Harry and Richard; a sister, Margaret Rose Hardy; a sister-in-law, Joan Bidinger, and her brother-in-law, Wayne Hardy.
Friends and family may visit at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD 21136 on Monday, September 16 from 10:30 – 11:30 am, with a service beginning at 11:30. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
