Miranda Nicole Pugliese, 30, loving mother to Blake and Myles and devoted wife to Anthony, passed away on Friday, January 10th, 2025. She was loved by countless friends and family and made an impact on everyone she came into contact with.
Born in Poland, Ohio on January 4th, 1995, Miranda was raised by her loving mother, Marina Burns. She and her family moved to Coatesville, Pennsylvania where she was a proud graduate of Coatesville High School. While there, she participated in many sports such as basketball, field hockey, and lacrosse. A strong, independent woman, she prided herself on being self-sufficientthroughout high school. From the age of 14, she found time towork many jobs while still excelling in the classroom. She then went on to West Chester University, where she picked up another sport, rugby. Using her determined mind set, incredible work ethic, and never quit attitude, she became one of the top players in the nation. She earned a scholarship as a walk on and obtained All-American honors on a team that advanced to the Final Four and competed for National Titles.
In addition to her athletic achievements, she also was a member of the Adapted Physical Activity Programs at West Chester University where she became a leader helping children of many different needs. This became a passion of hers that she truly cherished, and she carried that passion with her for the rest of her years.
While also at West Chester, she found the first part of her future family when she met the love of her life, Anthony. From the day they met, they were inseparable. Like two missing pieces of a puzzle that they endlessly searched for, they were a perfect fit and started a love that was impossible not to notice. They were truly best friends and teammates that supported each other through the rest of her life.
Miranda and Anthony got married and started their family in their home in Atglen, PA. There they started raising two beautiful, amazing, and happy children in Blake and Myles. Miranda's love of her family was unparalleled as she dropped everything to dive into taking care of them. Miranda had countless jobs throughout her life, but there was no doubt her favorite was being a devoted mother to Blake and Myles. She spent every second of every day dedicating herself to her precious family. The passion she had for her family created a legacy of love, kindness, and happiness that undoubtedly will live on with them for the rest of their lives.
She is survived by her perfect children, Blake Pugliese and Myles Pugliese and her college sweetheart, Anthony Pugliese. She is also survived by her mother Marina Burns, and her brother Alex Burns.
Miranda's great love for her family and her friends affected everyone that surrounded her, and she made an impact on everyone she crossed paths with. She will be deeply missed by all, but she will remain an inspiration forever in the hearts of those she loved.
