Morris Guidry Obituary

Morris Joseph Guidry, age 79, of Manchester, TN passed this life Monday, January 6, 2025. He was born July 12, 1945 in Houma, Louisianna to the late Paul and Ann (Breaux) Guidry. In addition to his parents, Morris is also preceded in death by his wife, Judy LeBouef Guidry; and siblings, Florence, Flossie, Jeanette, Yancy, Laban, and Harvey.
Morris was a remarkable and vibrant person with a great sense of humor and a strong love for life. His service in the U.S. Army shows his dedication to his country, and his enjoyment of country music, dancing, and spending time with friends highlights his outgoing and social nature. His ability to tinker and fix things like "MacGyver" speaks to his resourcefulness and ingenuity, while the care and affection he received from those around him, including the staff at Manchester Center, indicates how well-liked and respected he was. His flirtatious charm and fun-loving spirit often made him a joy to be around. What a wonderful legacy he leaves behind!
Morris is survived by his son, Reginald "Reggie" Paul Guidry (Rona); daughter, Regina Guidry Lovell (Timothy); grandchildren, Dakota Alegria (Zack), Devin Guidry (Tim Sanders), Nicholas Lovell (Connie), Reba Harrist (Grady), and Koby Lovell; great-grandchildren, Lakota, Daphnie, and 'Baby H" on the way; siblings, Henrietta and Renella.
