Nabamalika Gandhi, a resident of Fishkill, NY since 2020 and formerly of Wappingers Falls, NY and India, passed away tragically on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. She was 43.
She was born in Kolkata, India on October 20, 1981 and emigrated to the United States in 2019. In 2023, she graduated from the Paralegal Program at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. She most recently worked for the Law Offices of Chanda Thapa in New York City and previously for Sayegh Law Firm in Carmel, NY.
She was a loving and caring daughter and wife. Nabamalika enjoyed the little moments in life and cherished her time with family and friends. Her hobbies included singing, reading, and exercising. She loved experiencing and cooking different types of cuisine and also enjoyed going on trips, especially destinations which included mountainous views which she would photograph.
Nabamalika is survived by her husband, Hiten Gandhi, of Fishkill, NY; her parents, Suchanda and Biswanath Manna of Kolkata, India; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Anjana and Bharat Gandhi of Wappingers Falls, NY; as well as many other loving family members and great friends.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 1 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. Services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
