Nadine Gilroy Obituary

Nadine Margaret (Campbell) Gilroy passed away peacefully on October 7, 2024, at the age of 100. She had recently celebrated her milestone birthday in April with family and friends at Blaine Christian Church on Putney Road, where she was a lifelong member.
A graduate of Arcadia High School, Nadine attended business college in Muskegon, commuting with Bruce Gilroy, who worked in a wartime factory. They married in 1946 and shared a happy life on their farm until Bruce's passing in 2004.
Deeply involved in her church and community, Mrs. Gilroy was an active member of Eastern Star, Royal Neighbors, Gleaners, the Benzie County Extension, and various church groups.
She is survived by four of her five children: Priscilla Spencer (William), Cynthia Crocket (Kenneth), Gregory Gilroy (Susana), and Patricia Gilroy. Nadine leaves behind nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and countless cherished friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffery Gilroy and great-granddaughter Gabriella Collins.
A visitation will be held Tuesday October 15th from 6-8 pm at Jowett Family Funeral Home in Benzonia. A service will be held Wednesday October 16th at Blaine Christian Church at 2:00 pm with visiting one hour prior. Arrangements by Jowett Family Funeral Home of Benzonia.
