NANCY M. JOHNSON (nee Skrobacz) age 66, beloved wife for 45 years of Wayne Sr.; loving mother of Wayne Jr. (wife Jessica), twins Anthony and John and Christopher (fiancée Tiffany Atwood); devoted grandmother of Morgan, Mikaylah, Anthony, Ethan and Gabriella: cherished daughter of the late Anthony and Carole (nee Buoninfante) Skrobacz; dearest sister of Marie Ferro (husband Robert), Cindy Wicmandy (husband Gary) and her late Anthony Skrobacz (Brother): dear sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend of many. Nancy is survived by her canine companion Mollie and was preceded in death by canine companion Sophia.
Nancy was born on January 21,1958, and passed away on January 26, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bronx, New York and moved to Ohio in 1994. She later moved to Florida in 2003 with her husband and son Christopher to be close to her parents (Anthony and Carole) she later returned to Ohio in 2022 to be closer to her sons and resided in Eastlake. Nancy was a 1976 graduate of Brentwood High School in Brentwood, NY and married her beloved Wayne in 1979. Together they built a family and had 4 children. Nancy worked as a Claims Adjuster for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company as well as Ridge tool. Nancy’s hobbies included playing bingo, cooking and baking (especially with her father Anthony), She was a beloved fan of New York Yankees baseball, Garth Brooks and country music. She found the greatest joy in life spending time with her kids and grandkids. Her family describes her to be loving, caring and social with a great sense of humor. She was strong-willed and she was a fighter.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, February 9, 2024, at St Clare Catholic Church, 5659 Mayfield Rd, Cleveland, OH 44124 at 10 AM. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Nancy at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) THURSDAY February 8, 2024, from 5-8 PM.
