Nancy was the devoted wife of Roger Junker, her high school sweetheart, with whom she shared 55 years of love and companionship. Together, they created a life full of joy, laughter, and cherished memories. She was a loving mother to four children: Todd Radford (Martha), Keith Junker (Frances), Karen Mason (Jeff), and Elizabeth Boyd (Eric). Her legacy lives on through her seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
Born on February 28, 1938, in Todd County, Kentucky, Nancy was the daughter of Martha Patterson Sisk and Marion Waller Sisk, Sr. A resident of Hopkinsville most of her life, she touched countless lives with her kindness and creativity.
Nancy's career was marked by service and dedication. She began her professional journey in real estate before dedicating many years to serving the state of Kentucky at the Cabinet for Human Resources until her retirement.
She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Marion Sisk, Jr., and sister Janice McGee. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Tommy Sisk. A longtime member of Faith Lutheran Church, Nancy's life was rich with faith and love. She will be best remembered for her many talents, from her culinary expertise and gardening skills to her beautiful wedding cakes that brought joy to so many. Nancy also loved to travel with her husband, and cherished every moment spent with her family, particularly her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, doting Nana, and faithful friend. Nancy was known for her sharp wit, sense of humor, and vibrant personality. Though small in stature, she was larger than life in every way-always spunky, full of energy, and the heart of every room she entered. Nancy's spirit and memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Faith Lutheran Church.
