Nelda June Paschal, age 86, peacefully left this world on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, surrounded by the love she so generously shared throughout her life. Born on June 6, 1938, in Weatherford, Texas, Nelda was the cherished daughter of Hershel and Edna (Potts) Woolsey.
Nelda dedicated over 22 years as a receptionist for Dr. John E. Smith, where her warm smile and approachability made an indelible mark on all who knew her. She was a member of Dennis Baptist Church; she found joy in her faith and the community around her. Family was at the center of Nelda’s life; she treasured every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, creating memories that her family will carry forward. Her passion for gardening reflected her nurturing spirit, as she tended to her yard and flower beds.
Nelda is now reunited with her beloved husband, Wade Paschal, and her dear brothers, Austin and Douglas Woolsey, who preceded her in death, along with her parents, Hershel and Edna Woolsey.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion through her family: her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Kim Paschal of Granbury, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Rick and DeAnn Paschal of Lipan, Texas; seven grandchildren who adored her, Brody Paschal, Brandi Doran, Ryan Paschal, Tara Paschal, William Paschal, Robert Womack, and Courtnee Womack; as well as thirteen great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Virginia Woolsey.
