Norma Varnadoe Obituary
Mrs. Norma Lee Varnadoe, 77, of Lodge, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at her residence.
Born October 28, 1946, in Barnwell, she was a daughter of the late Monnie Still and Rosalee Baxley Still. She was a member of Ehrhardt Baptist Church. Mrs. Norma loved taking care of everyone. She and her husband Joe loved being foster parents to many children. She also enjoyed canning vegetables and fruits and enjoyed sewing.
Surviving are: her husband of 61 years, Joseph Henry Varnadoe of Lodge; sons, Jimmy Dean Varnadoe of Eutawville and Michael Lee Varnadoe of Allendale; grandchildren, Jimmy "Jay" Varnadoe and his wife Val; Shenan Varn and her husband Phillip, Megan New and her husband Michael, McKenzie Varnadoe, and Chloe Varnadoe; 9 great grandchildren; and sisters, Aggie Ruth Hair of Barnwell and Cora Lee Martin of Lodge.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Ehrhardt Baptist Church, Post Office Box 267, Ehrhardt, South Carolina 29081.
Funeral services will be held 11 o'clock, Saturday morning, July 20, 2024, at Ehrhardt Baptist Church, 279 Madison Street, Ehrhardt.
The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10 o'clock until the hour of service in the church sanctuary.
