Norma Winkelman Obituary

Mrs. Norma Jean Winkelman, 97 of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully on September 20, 2024 at The Porches of Gaylord with family at her side. She was born in Riley Center, Michigan on August 28, 1927 to the late Otis and Eunice (Hall) Eldred. She has resided in Lewiston for the last 55 years. Norma worked as a bookkeeper for the family business, Winkelman Excavating. She enjoyed spending the winter months in Zephyrhills, Florida with her late husband, Albert. Apart from anything, Norma was very centered around her family and spent the majority of her time being with family. She will be deeply missed.

 Norma is remembered by her children, Sandy (Donald) Raffin; Mike (Shery Byars) Winkelman; Chris Winkelman all of Lewiston; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Eunice Eldred; and husband, Albert.

 Funeral services for Mrs. Winkelman will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Green Funeral Home, Lewiston. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM until time of service. Interment will follow at Albert Township Cemetery where Norma will be laid to rest.
