Onrique Brinson Obituary

Onrique Demetrius "Meechie' Brinson passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 56, in Bradenton, Florida. Born on June 10, 1968, in Toombs County, Lyons, Georgia, he was a cherished son, father, and relative known for his humorous, charismatic, and charming personality.
Meechie was a proud alumnus of Palmetto High School, which laid a strong foundation for his vibrant personality to flourish. His life was enriched by deep connections with his family and friends, who found joy and laughter in his presence.
He leaves behind his loving mother, Birdie Brinson; his children Shemtra Brinson, Shemetris Brinson, Sharquetta Brinson, Onriea Brinson, Onrique Brinson Jr., Donnie Brinson, Viola McDuffie, Demetrius Brinson, Jamal Walker, Kyya Brinson, Tyesha Brinson, Alina Brinson, Anisia Davis, Aliya Brinson, Sa'Myiah Brinson, Santana Brinson; and beloved 36 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly. Meechie was preceded in death by his father, Donnie Brinson; sister, LaDonna Brinson Watkins; and brother, Damarius Brinson Sr. A family viewing will be held on November 9, 2024, from 10 AM to 11 AM at WestsideFuneral Home in Palmetto, FL, which is assisting the family during this difficult time. Meechie's memory will be cherished and kept alive by those who loved him.
