Petrolena (Pat) Archuleta Smith, 90, of Perry, Utah died December 23, 2024 in Pocatello, Idaho.

She has two grandsons, Matthew J. Robinette of Pinedale, Wyoming, Isaac C. Herbert (Brandy) of Brigham City, Utah, great granddaughter Vera Sue Robinette of Boulder, Wyoming. Dickson’s children are Dickson and Jean Smith, Gizelle and Reed Pettingill, Keith and Lynn Smith and Elise Smith. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pat was born in San Juan Pueblo, New Mexico and spent her early years there with her grandmother. She worked for Intermountain Indian School for many years until her retirement. She thoroughly enjoyed her years as an Educational Aide working with the young women in the girl’s dormitory.
Some of Pat’s favorite things were visits from family and friends, cats and dogs, going for walks, reading, cooking with Dickson and good coffee. I hope there’s a Starbuck’s in heaven. She attended St. Henry’s Catholic Church until she couldn’t drive any longer.
Pat’s family thanks Quail Ridge Assisted Living staff and all medical personnel and Enhabit Hospice for the care of our mother. She was truly grateful to all of you.
