May 10, 1979 – June 6, 2025
Alexander "Ito" Rivera, 46, passed away on June 6, 2025. Born in Puerto Rico on May 10, 1979, he made his home in Lawrence, Massachusetts, where he was known for his vibrant spirit and outgoing nature.
Ito was the beloved son of Carlos G. Santos, Carmen Rivera and stepmother Maria L. Santos. He is survived by his siblings: Diana Rivera, Jessica Rivera, Erika Santos, Leslie A. Rivera, Jessica Rivera and Sandra I. Rivera. His deep love for his family-especially his father-was evident.
A true people person, Ito thrived in the heart of the community. His love for life was loud and unapologetic-whether he was cruising in a sports car, blasting his favorite rap tracks, or just spending time with loved ones. He had a magnetic personality and a contagious laugh that left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 131 Main St, Fairfield, ME 04937 on July 12, 2025, from 1:00pm-4:00pm.
We find comfort in the words of Psalm 91, a reminder of the Lord's protection and eternal peace:
"Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'"
- Psalm 91:1-2
Though his time here was too short, Alexander "Ito" Rivera will forever live in our hearts.
