Patricia Dougherty Obituary
She was born January 9, 1939, in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Vincent and Lucy (Cuttle) Murphy.
She was a loving mother to five children, Dennis (Laurie) Dougherty, Patricia (Bob) Gladstone, Joe (Sara) Dougherty, James (Rhina) Dougherty and Theresa (Josh) Bengal; also survived by ten grandchildren, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Patrick, Kevin, Shannon, Erin, Emma, Brianna, Trevor and Madeline, and three great-grandchildren, Miles, Briggs and Cole; dear sister to two brothers, James (MaryAgnes) Murphy and Edward (Susan) Murphy and also survived by brothers-in-law Thomas Stegemerten and Mike Lomento and sister-in-law, Kathleen Simpson, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Dougherty and granddaughter Mary, as well as four sisters and one brother.
Friends and family are invited to attend her viewing from 9:30-10:30 AM on Friday, September 6, 2024 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Collingdale, where mass will be at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
