Patricia Jennings Obituary

Patricia M. Jennings of Haverhill, MA passed away on February 10th due to injuries sustained from a fall in her home. Born in Lawrence, MA, Patricia, lovingly known as "Pat", a member of Lawrence High School's Class of 1967, continued her education at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Education in 1972. Pat went on to obtain her Masters in Education from Lesley University. A dedicated educator who cared greatly about her students, Pat served as a devoted teacher for 35 years in the Lawrence Public Schools.
Pat had a love for the ocean and grew up making memories on Salisbury, Seabrook and Hampton Beaches with her family and friends. Pat loved an adventure-time in the sun in Florida, a concert with her nieces, a round of golf with her friends or a trip to Maryann's Diner with her nephews. She loved planning and preparing a delicious meal for those she loved. You could count on her to show up for you, and always bring laughter, a topical quip regarding how Boston sports teams were faring, and a gift or two in tow wherever she went.
To know Pat was to know her generous spirit; as she was the most thoughtful daughter, cousin, aunt, friend, and teacher. In addition to her extended family, she was a close friend to so many. You could rely on her to be there to celebrate life's important moments, where she truly was always the life of the party. She will be remembered for her loving laugh, vivacious personality, and impeccable taste.
Pat was predeceased by her parents Edward and Margaret Jennings, and chosen sister Judith Hayes (John). She is survived by her cousins Frances Sidley, Cecelia Deschambault, Sharon Kelley and Janice Arsenault, chosen sisters Gail Brain (Richard), Margaret Harvey and a dear friend Dave Kazanjian. Patsy leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication to her family and friends.
"Auntie Patsy" will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, their spouses and children, Meaghan Leoncavallo (Paul), Bridget Clifford (Michael), Patrick Hayes (Jennifer), Colleen Reilly (Cliff), Mara Child (Buck), Jessie Brain (Mary), and Joseph Harvey-Schmidt (Taylor).
A funeral mass will be held on February 24, 2025 at 11:30AM at Sacred Hearts Parish 165 South Main Street Bradford, MA. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Sacred Hearts School 48 South Chestnut Street Bradford, MA to honor her passion for education and faith in God.
