Patricia Alice Mossey of Enfield, NH, passed away on January 1, 2025, of end-stage renal disease. Born to Leo Allen and Marion Welch in Haverhill, NH, Pat recently celebrated her 73rd birthday this past November. She attended Bradford Academy and later worked alongside her loving husband, Harold, at Dartmouth College until her retirement. Pat is predeceased by her 2nd husband, Harold Mossey Jr., whom in she found a kindred spirit. They were together for over forty years, the last twenty-five as husband and wife.

Pat lived an adventurous life, traveling alongside Harold in their motor home to Florida many times, riding motorcycles in the summer/fall months, and snowmobiling. She loved playing Bingo and could often be found trying her luck at a casino on the slot machines. Pat found joy in being creative, she crafted many things including blankets, mittens, scarves, and pillow people to gift her friends and family. She loved decorating her house for the changing seasons. She enjoyed hosting or attending large family gatherings. Pat and Harold opened their hearts to many dogs throughout the years. Each one became a member of their family. The most recent addition, Charley will continue to be a loving companion to stepdaughter, Pam, and her husband, Ray.

Pat will always be remembered for her generous heart and childlike laughter. She readily accepted people for who they were and saw the good in everyone. She was a good friend and was always ready to lend an ear or share a meal. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Christy Sulham of So. Ryegate, VT for her kindness and dedication to caregiving.

Pat leaves behind one brother, Ronald (Hope) Allen of Ryegate, VT. Her children, Paul (Amy) Paye of Woodsville NH, Douglas (April) Paye of So. Ryegate, VT, Sharon (Randy) Brooks of Claremont, NH, and Angela (Robert) Paye of So. Ryegate, VT. Her first husband and father of her children, Wilfred Paye Sr. of So. Ryegate, VT. Her Loving stepchildren, Theresa (Ray) Grace of Cornish, NH, Pamela (Ray) Judd of Hill, NH, Donald (Robyn) Mossey of Palm Bay FL, Peter (Mary) Mossey of Forest City, NC, as well as multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.
