Mrs. Patricia Moss Reid, 71, of
Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024. She was born on May 13, 1953, in Virginia.
Patricia graduated from West Georgia College with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She worked as a dedicated and compassionate registered nurse (RN) in the fast-paced and high-pressure environment of the Tanner Medical Center Emergency Room, where she gained valuable experience in triaging and providing critical care to patients in need. Patricia returned to West Georgia to obtain her bachelor's degree in accounting. Following her graduation, she joined the accounting department at John Thornton Chevrolet, a well-respected dealership in the community. Her attention to detail and analytical skills made her a valuable asset to the company, and she was highly regarded by her colleagues and superiors.
In her spare time, Patricia cherished the tranquility of camping in the great outdoors, the thrill of casting her line while fishing, and the special moments spent on date nights with her husband. These date nights often included dinner at a cozy restaurant followed by a trip to the movies to catch the latest blockbuster.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Steven Reid; mother, Eleanor Rogers Brown; stepfather, Wilber Frank Brown; mother-in-law, Peggy Reid; and aunts & uncles, Robbie Akin, Herbert Cole, C.E. Cole, Betty Ann Smith, Huston Cole, Charlotte Muse, and Janice Kittle.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 46 years, Steven Lee Reid; father-in-law, Chester L. Reid; aunts and uncles, Joann and John Morris, Michael Cole, Dwayne Cole, Wendell Cole, Barry Cole, and Bonnie Jenkins; nephew and niece, Kevin and Laurie Morris; and several nephews, nieces, and extended family members.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery, with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Ricky Cole, Freddie Richey, Will Richey, Blaine Orton, Lane Baker, Terry Bagwell, and Brandon Anderson.
