Patsy Ruth Parker, 82, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away peacefully Thursday evening, October 24, 2024, in Granbury, Texas.
Pat was born August 29, 1942 in Maxey, Texas to James and Thelma Oldham.
Pat is survived by her six children: Kelli Rowe, Chuck and wife Dian Parker, Terri Hooper, Lori Parker, Jody and wife Sherri Parker, and Lisa and husband Stephen Forsyth, as well as 14 grandchildren, Tauna Blevins, Lindsey Jack-Smith, Tyler Jack, Justin Parker, Eric Parker, Jason Hotze, Shelby Ford, Jolee Wright, Seth Johnson, Toby Parker, Matthew Parker, Spencer Forsyth, Tanner Forsyth, and Natalie Forsyth; and by 15 great-grandchildren. Pat is also survived by her sister, Glenda Marsh and sister-in-law, Hilda Oldham.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her brother, Don Oldham and great-grandson, Noah Ford.
Pat attended West Lamar High School and retired from Lockheed Martin as an electrical assembler after 20 years.
She enjoyed sewing, playing the piano, and had a deep love for Southern Gospel music. In her later years, she spent most of her time "tinkering" on her computer and loved playing Solitaire. Of all her accomplishments in life, she was most proud of her kids and grandkids. She was "Granny P" to those who loved her!
Her children held a private memorial service to honor her life. Burial will be held at a later date.
