Paul Zamierowski Obituary

Paul S. Zamierowski, of Detroit, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the age of 87. He was born January 12, 1937 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Walter and Frances (nee Godlewski) Zamierowski.
Paul was a proud United States Army Veteran. He was the owner of Paul's Barber Shop on Chene Street in Detroit for many decades. He was very proud and supported the "Old Neighborhood" on Chene Street. He was an Usher and longtime member of St. Hyacinth Catholic Church in Detroit and was an active member of the St. Joe's Dad's Club.
Paul was also a talented musician. He was a 2nd Violinist with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and also played in the Army Orchestra.
Beloved husband of Lucille for 53 years. Dear brother of Genevieve Tylen and the late Wallace (Jean), Lawrence (Mildred), Mary (Henry) Orlowski and brother in law of Br. Joseph Jozwiak. Dear nephew of Sylvia (the late Louis) Dombrowski. Loving uncle of many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and great great nieces and great great nephews. He is also survived by and will be greatly missed by his K9 furbaby, Penny.
Visitation Thursday 2-7 p.m. with a Rosary 6 p.m. at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc., 11470 Thirteen Mile Road (west of Hoover) Warren. Instate Friday 10:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass 11 a.m. at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church, 3151 Farnsworth St. (corner of McDougall) Detroit. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
