Pete was born in Minneapolis, MN to John and Kathryn Roddy on December 16, 1947. After graduating from Cooper High School in 1965, he enlisted in the US Air Force. He served for 4 years and was honorably discharged. He was stationed in Thailand during the Vietnam war; aiding in the logistical supply missions.
Peter met the love of his life, Theresa Krajewski while in the service. They were married in 1969 and together they had two children; Christopher and Andrea.
Pete retired in 2013, after working as a warehouse manager for 43 years. He and Terri enjoyed traveling and visiting casinos, especially to Las Vegas. Pete loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pete is survived by his loving wife of 55 1/2 years, Terri; son Christopher (Jo); daughter Andrea (Tim) Berc; grandchildren, Christian, Raven, Logan, Lily, Lance and Lenore. Two brothers and a sister.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Allina Hospice, Father Peter VanderWeyst, Father Mike Sullivan; Christopher, Andrea, many friends from Cambridge and Maple Grove and dear friend Marie Melland.

Andrea I´m so very sorry for your family´s loss. Lots of love & prayers for y´all. What a wonderful legacy your daddy left here on this earth Veterans hold a special place in my heart and so do the families who share them with us. Love you girl & may God wrap you in his love & grace

We got to know Pete when he and my husband worked together years ago at FPI. Pete had a keen sense of humor, matched with a sharp wit. One of my favorite memories is a costume he wore to one of our Halloween parties. He came dressed as Captain Pumpkin, defender of the pumpkin patch. He was dressed in black and orange. he had on an orange wig, orange shorts and black tights. He had really nice legs.. Fly high with your wings
