Philbert Goclanney Obituary

Philbert Lee Goclanney was born in Dallas, Texas to Phillip and Glorinda Goclanney. He entered eternal rest on December 30, 2024.
Philbert spent his younger years in Dallas, his family returned to Whiteriver in 1985. A huge Dallas Cowboys fan: win, lose or tie. He often spoke of the many places his parents took them when they were growing up in Dallas, from the boxing matches, the stadiums, and their state fairs. After moving to Whiteriver from Dallas, Philbert attended local school and then went onto Job Corp. and did carpentry. Philbert enjoyed working on vehicles, he was a member of a Lowrider group in Whiteriver. Very well known for customizing the vehicles he owned; from the Metal Mulisha, the Red Chili, White Shark and many others which he also named. He also enjoyed helping those who needed mechanical work done on their vehicles and was well known to extend any help needed to those who needed it. He mostly did subcontractor work going where work was offered. Family meant everything to Philbert, especially after losing both parents and siblings, he held on to the family he still had and called daily whoever would answer. His children Samson, Natalie "Sweetie, D'Anceo "Pretty Boy", Sheila "Girly" and Jehovah and Julio along with their children were his life's greatest treasures. His grandkids were all so close to their grandpa and will miss him. He also became a father figure to his niece (Fernanda Alekay) and nephew (Brandon Alekay), whom he helped raise with his parents. He was a humble man who loved to make people laugh, he could enter a quiet room and leave with everyone laughing. He was absolutely the life of the party. He leaves behind his wife, Waneka Keyes Goclanney, his children, and many extended family members and friends. He will be deeply missed.
