Ralph Stein Obituary

Ralph P. Stein, age 77, a lifelong resident of Cloquet, Minnesota passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025, at his home. He was born on March 27, 1947, to Paul and Helen (Louis) Stein. He attended school in Cloquet and later furthered his education with several programs including studying forestry. Ralph was united in marriage to Irma Reynolds on May 25, 1965. He began a lengthy career with Conwed, retiring in the 1980's. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed many fishing trips to Alaska, Canada, and elsewhere. Ralph also enjoyed playing golf, mowing the lawn, playing cribbage and bingo, and hunting.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Irma; sister, Margaret (Harold) Frank; siblings-in-law, Eugene Reynolds Jr., Marlys Whitetree, George (Dawn) Reynolds, and Darlene Diver; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and parents-in-law; and siblings-in-law, Terry Whitetree, John, Karen, and Mary Diver, and Ruby, Dean, David, Ernest, Gerald, Alvin, and Darrel Reynolds.
Services in honor of Ralph will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon and continue until the 1:00 p.m. memorial service. Refreshments will follow. Inurnment will be at Old Holy Family Cemetery in Cloquet.
