Ray Atkinson Obituary
Passed away on Tuesday, September 17, at his home.
Ray proudly served as the Fentress Co. Sheriff from 1998-2006. He loved serving the county in which he lived.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 21, at 12 Noon at Mundy Funeral Home South Chapel, with burial to follow in the Jonesville Cemetery
Family will receive friends on Friday, September 20, from 5 P.M. – 8 P.M. at Mundy Funeral Home South Chapel
He is survived by:
Grandsons: Brad Buck and wife Tiffany & Brent Buck and wife Kadie
Siblings: Edd Atkinson, Harold Atkinson, Danny Atkinson, Wilma Elmore, Adele Tays, & Jackie Hargis
Great-Grandchildren: Adalyn, Grayson, Leighton, Hayden, Jayden, Brinton, Allie, Kyler, Braxton, and Aubree
Son-in-law: Ronald Buck
Brother-in-law: Alvin Cooper
A host of nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by:
Wife: Linda Atkinson
Parents: Corbet and Electa Atkinson
Daughter: Pam Buck
Siblings: Connie Atkinson, Ronnie Atkinson, Eulene Wilson, Thelma Cooper, and Sharon Taylor Brown
