Raymond Ujenski Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Kaatz Funeral Directors - Richmond on Nov. 20, 2024.
Raymond John Ujenski, It is with great sadness that the family of Ray Ujenski, 81, of Richmond, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He will forever be remembered by his wife Priscilla; daughter, Lisa; grandchildren, Noah, Hannah, and Isabella; daughter-in-law, Susanne; sister-in-law, Dottie (Ray), nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Angeline Ujenski, son, David, and sister, Loretta Fox.
Ray was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 27, 1943. He married Priscilla Shostak on October 22, 1966, at St. Florian Catholic Church in Hamtramck, Michigan. They shared 58 cherished years together. Ray proudly served in the US Air Force from 1961-1965. He then moved on to begin his career with Chrysler and retired after 34 years. But his most favorite job was being "Papa", and he was the best. His grandkids were his pride and joy.
He lived his life as a true loving, giving and caring husband, dad, papa, brother, son, uncle and friend. His happiest moments were when we were all gathered together. The greatest legacy Ray is leaving us with is the love he always shared with his children, grandchildren, wife, and family. His love will be in our hearts forever.
The family honors the memory of Raymond and invites you to visit and share memories on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 6:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond.
