It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rebecca "Becky" Paul Hall, a cherished mama, granny, aunt, and friend who left us peacefully on October 2, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on May 11, 1940, in Wadley, GA, Becky was known for her warm and generous spirit, her love for cooking, and her unwavering devotion to her family.
To her family, she was more than just a mama and granny; she was the heart of her home. Her kitchen was a sanctuary filled with the comforting aromas of freshly baked cakes and pies, the joy of big family Sunday lunches, and the familiar sounds of Walker Texas Ranger playing in the background. Each meal she prepared was not just food; it was an expression of her love and devotion, a way to bring her family together.
Becky dedicated many years of her life to Forstmann "The Woolen Mill" in East Dublin, GA. After retiring, she found joy in baking cakes for the public, taking pride in the many orders she received during the holidays. Her delicious home-cooked meals and her unwavering support made everyone feel special and cherished.
Becky was the last of her siblings and is preceded in death by her parents James L. and Cora Dasher Paul, her beloved husband, Floyd Hall, and her son, Kerry F. Hall. She is survived by her daughter Angie (Tom) Romer; daughter-in-law Beth Hall; grandchildren Heather Hightower (Stoney), Justin Hightower (Erin), Chance Hall, and Cade Hall; and great-grandchildren Carley and Trojan Stapleton and Isaiah Martin. Each of us carries a piece of her in our hearts, a reminder of the profound impact she had on our lives.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Liberty Grove Baptist Church, where Becky was a member. Friends and family are welcome to join us in remembering the remarkable woman she was.
Pallbearers will be Justin Hightower, Chance Hall, Cade Hall, Stoney Stapleton, Trojan Stapleton, Rusty Webb, Roger Webb, Tom Hightower, James Paul and Troy Hall.
