René M. Oram, 73, Oshkosh, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, October 24, 2024.
She was born December 6, 1950, to the late Delbert and Jacqueline (Marx) Stenson.
René was a 1969 graduate of Lourdes Academy.
Throughout her working career, René worked at numerous hospitals and nursing homes. Her last employment was with Parkview Nursing Home as an administrative assistant.
Family was of utmost importance to René, whether get togethers or family vacations. She was a helper, René was always there with a loving touch or a listening ear. No matter where she went, René seemed to run into somebody she knew or by the time she left, she had a new friend.
She is survived by her children; Stacy Schroeder, Michael (Jennie) Blau, Scott Blau, and Nicholas Oram. Grandchildren; Lindsay (Danyell), Andrew, Dustin, Katelin, Hunter, Michael, Ahava, Parker, Noah, Sebastian, and her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Dakari, Amarion, Cavon, Chevy, Ava Rose, and Veida.
Her siblings; Deb (Troy) Easterson, Dan (Natalie) Stenson, Rita (John) Sussenberger, Jackie (Dave) Stephenson, Dawn (Brian) Houle, Martin (Deb) Stenson, Lisa Munoz, Josie (Dave) Baer, Eric (Heather) Stenson, Matt (Wendy) Stenson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
René was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jimmy Stenson, and nephew James Stenson.
Family and friends may gather on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 10:00AM at St. Michael's Chapel 1782 Chapelle Rue, De Pere. A Requiem High Mass will be offered at 12:00PM with Fr. Andrew Dwyer officiating. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established.
Special thanks to Lindsay for caring for her Nae Nae in her final days, and to Edenbrook of Oshkosh and Compassus Hospice, your love and concern shown to our mom and family will not be forgotten.
