Renee’ Hunter Obituary

Brooklet – Renee' Hunter, 67, passed away, April 9, 2025 at her home.

Reneé lived a life of service, happiest when she was doing for others. She was a blessing to anyone lucky enough to have had her in their lives. Reneé's talents were many, she was a talented painter, extraordinary gardener, wonderful chef, exemplary hostess, and the absolute best caretaker. She loved making others feel special and loved. She loved spending time with her husband Bill enjoying sunrises over a cup of coffee and ending the day in the same spot admiring the beauty of the moon. Her grandchildren were the apples of her eye, she created memories with, and for them that will last a lifetime. She enjoyed spending hours in her 'craft cottage' creating beautiful treasures and enjoying the nature that surrounded her. Reneé had her own cleaning business for years- which was a perfect fit with her personality, always wanting to make others feel happy- and who doesn't feel happy coming home to a clean house? She kept a sign on the family refrigerator 'the most important 'things' in life aren't things', a great reminder to us all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Mary Frances Ansley; siblings, Stephen Ansley, Kevin Ansley, and Michelle Ansley.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Hunter; children, Heather Scott (Sean), Brian Walker (Haley), Joseph Hunter (Alicia), Susan Green, and Lucy Hunter; siblings, Timothy Ansley (Gail), Colette Sego (Gary), Greg Ansley (Bobbi), and Jeff Ansley (Kathleen); grandchildren, Ansley Scott, Ashton Scott, Ava Grace Scott, Miley Reddick, Tavon Powell, Michael Green, Makayla Green, Brantley Hunter, Briana Hunter, Diana Hunter, and Jackson German; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 4 – 5 pm Sunday, April 13, 2025 in the funeral home.

Funeral Service: 5 pm Sunday, April 13, 2025 in the funeral home chapel.
