On October 18th, 2025, Robert Anthony Salcido 59 walked into heaven. A visitation will be held Monday November 3rd at 1:30pm -6pm at West Funeral Home, on Tuesday November 4th a Rosary will be held at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00am at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Juan Carlos presiding, burial will take place at Carlsbad Cemetery.

He was born August 25th, 1966, to Pete and Elidia (Lee) Salcido in Carlsbad NM. Robert was raised in Carlsbad and at the age of 19 moved to Jacksonville Florida where he would spend the rest of his life.
Robert followed in his father's trade as a welder and was employed by numerous steel companies around the JAX area. Robert loved his employment with Stellar Energy where he was a foreman overseeing the construction and loading of industrial cooling modules. Robert was highly praised by Stellar Energy for his outstanding leadership, reliability and foresight.
Robert was quite cheerful and compassionate, he loved people. His favorite sports team was no doubt the Jaguars, and he loved Mexican food. Robert also enjoyed attending NASCAR events.
Robert is preceded in heaven by his father Pete R. Salcido, grandnephew Cameron Pete Salcido, grandparents Patrick and Christina Gaitan, grandparents Miguel and Lorenza Salcido and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends
Robert is survived by his mother Elidia (Lee) Salcido of Carlsbad, brothers Richard and wife Martha Salcido of Corpus Christi TX., Raymond Salcido of San Antonio TX., Nephew Patrick and wife Deanna Salcido of Corpus Christi TX., Nieces Samantha and husband Ylario Flaco Jr of Carlsbad, Ricca Salcido and companion Javier Garza of Corpus Christi TX., numerous grand Nephews, one grand Niece, Aunts, Uncle, Cousins and Friends,
Having the distinguished honor to serve as Robert's pallbearers are Raymond Salcido, Patrick Salcido, Ylario Flaco Jr, Julian Salcido, Sal Rey Salcido and Jackie Armendariz
Honorary pallbearers are friends and coworkers at Stellar Energy, Jacksonville, FL
