Richard Chappell Obituary

RICHARD ALEXIS CHAPPELL, age 43, of Tullahoma, Tenn., departed this life at his home on Saturday, March 8, 2025, losing a brief battle with cancer. Mr. Chappell was born in Naples, Fla. He was adopted by his late grandparents at a young age, Edward and Ann Chappell. Before his illness, Mr. Chappell was employed for many years as a Customer Associate with Publix in Naples, Fla.
He is survived by his biological mother, Kathleen Powell and husband, Robert Powell, Jr. of Tullahoma, Tenn., sister, Shae M. Frus and husband, Kevin Frus of Covington, Tenn., and niece, Violet Skylar Frus, step brother, Robert Brent Powell of Winchester, step-sister-in-law, Sandy Bailey of Tullahoma, niece, Gwyneth Paige Powell of Murfreesboro, Tenn. Aunts, Kathy Lee (Warren) Gaskill of Beverly, Arkansas and Jeanne E. (Robert) Edenzon, of Jacksonville, Fla. Uncles, John (Tracye) Mickunass of Texas and Victor (Karen) Mickunas, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Va. and his Maternal grandmother, Helen Chappell.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, March 16, at Five Points Chapel & Gardens at 702 Margaret Street, Jacksonville, FL 32204.
