I remember Richard Cox & Gene Parker when I was little. I followed them any where i could around Red Springs. 1940's - 1950's. He used to live down the street from me here in Seymour. I waved to him every chance i could. He will be greatly missed by us all. Mary Allen.

I first met Richard at GTE, he was my supervisor and moved to Oklahoma for a short time at the same time I did. He took time to teach me what I needed to become and engineer with the phone company. Best supervisor I ever had, a good all around person! I know he will be missed by his family and all who knew him. So sorry to here he is gone.
