Richard enjoyed working out at the Franciscan Health Fitness Center, traveling, eating pasta and drinking coffee. Son of the late Jean A nee Stachon and Arthur J. Ertl. Brother of Karen Ertl. Cousin of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 West 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Friday February 20, 2026 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Saturday February 21, 2026 9:15 am from funeral home to St Veronica (formerly Infant Jesus of Prague) Parish, 1131 Douglas, Flossmoor. Mass 10:00 am.
