WARSAW- Richard Joseph “Rick” Eaches, 69, passed away Friday, October 31, 2025 at his home surrounded by family.
He was born Oct. 15, 1956 in Coshocton to the late Virgil and Joanne (Cronin) Eaches. He was a graduate of River View High School. He was currently employed at William Albert Excavating, as well as a Tiverton Township Trustee. He also hauled Amish for several years.
Rick loved spending time with his grandkids and being involved in their activities. In his younger years he was a dirt track race car driver, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trap shooting. He had recently had taken up golfing, and remained very active in the Tiverton Grange.
He is survived by his three children, Danielle Eaches (Josh Cairati), Heather (Brian) Dovenbarger, and Virgil Eaches (Samantha Swab); his grandchildren, Chelsea Lanham, Joey Poland, Will Webster III, Briley Dovenbrger, Ayla Eaches, and Briar Eaches; great-grandchildren, Kiara, Miracle, Harleigh, and Westin; a sister, Denise (Roger) Estill; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by a brother, Doug Eaches; and a great-granddaughter, Serenity.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3, 2025 at Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Mike Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Tiverton Cemetery. Visitation is from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2nd at the funeral home.
