This is how I felt about Rick. He was my everything.

Rick and I got real close the last few months of his life. We spent all our free time together just hanging out. He enjoyed cooking great meals on his grill. He loved all his kids and grandkids he told me how much he loved all of them. He was so great to be around he made me smile like only he could. I picked him up in Bennington on many occasions. I told him if he needed me to come get him I always would. His best friend was Larry. He always said him and Larry go way back they even fought like best friends but always made up. I wouldn't give away any of the time we spent together to anyone. The. Last meal he had was a hamburger and fries he made for us Sunday evening. I told him how I miss him when he's gone and I couldn't wait till my birthday because that's usually the day he came back on Thursday. I'll never forget the last hug he gave me I could tell he was gonna miss me by the way he held me. His mother meant the world to him he was hoping to get to see her in the last month but he had unforseen vehicle troubles. Which I believe his other best friend Brad finally had figured out. He has more heart then anyone I knew and he would do whatever he could for anyone. He liked strawberry shakes a lot. He was my everything in the end, I believe I was the last one to see him alive and I gave him a big hug. Told him I loved him. Gave him a kiss. Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would be our last. I miss him everyday when I messaged him on the 7th to let me know he made it to his kids house ok. Asked him how far he was. He never responded and didn't respond on the 8th either. So I got on the Internet to see if I could find out what happened and there it was his name and killed in a vehicle accident. I couldn't believe it I was in shock. How could the one person I loved like no one else pass away. I hope he was happy and maybe now he's having like the song says a beer with Jesus. I hope I gave him just as many unforgettable memories as he gave me. Ill never forget him and how he made me feel like I was the one he wanted to spend his time with at night. He was a great snuggler. I'm so sorry for his families loss Kristian, his mother, and other son Brady I believe he said. He was fond of his daughter in law said she was a great cook. Also, loved his grandkids. Keegan and him spent lots of time together. I'm sure he's watching over all of us.

In this past year I got to spend a lot of time with Rick and we formed a relationship that meant a lot to me. Rick had the biggest heart and it seemed like his smile could light up a thousand rooms and instantly make you want to smile. Rick will always and forever hold a place in my heart and I am going to miss him so terribly but I know that he is in a much better place now and until we meet again I'm going to hang on to every memory I got the chance to make with him.
