Rick Watkins Obituary

Ricky Dale Watkins, age 67, of Millersburg, formerly of Mancelona, passed away suddenly on October 17th, 2024. He was born to Dale and Patricia (Shepperly) Watkins on October 26th, 1956, in Bellaire, Michigan.
During his life, Rick enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, and looking for morels. He also liked spending time with Boo, his best friends' dog.
Rick is survived by his two daughters, Kristi (Dale) Prieskorn, of Savannah, New York, and Samantha (Shawn) Traylor, of Rapid City; two grandchildren, Tanner and Kinsley; two sisters, Karen (Larry) D'Water, of Fife Lake, and Kelly (Randy) Sexton of Mancelona; his two best friends, Darrell Felver and his dog Boo, and Gene Splan; his wife, Kelly (Fortune) Watkins of Mancelona; and his ex-wife and the mother of his children, Nancy Watkins, of Mancelona. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ron Watkins; nephew, Eric Watkins; and niece, Ashley Sexton.
Cremation has taken place. The family has decided to not have any services at this time.
