Ricky Watson Obituary

Ricky "Rick" Joe Watson of Guthrie, OK died September 23, 2024. He was 65 years old. Rick was born in Long Beach, CA on October 13, 1958 to his parents, Joe Bob and Lois Watson.
Rick was a carpenter by trade- he could build anything with his hands. He was always busy tinkering in his shop or working on something. He had a great love for the outdoors, which included hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Tony Johnson.
Rick is survived by his father Joe Bob (Ann) Watson of Guthrie and his mother Lois Watson of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by his son, Jarrod (Jessica) Watson and grandchildren, Lorelai and Declan, of Dix Hills, NY and his daughter, Katy (Michael) Taylor of Edmond, OK. Rick had 3 stepchildren, Amber (Mark) Riendeau and grandchildren, Reagan and Weston of Eufaula, OK, Ashley (Matt) Brown and grandchildren, Tucker and Tanner of Edmond, and Joshua (Sarah) Brown and grandchildren, Lucas and Caleb of Piedmont, OK. Rick had many siblings including, Robert (Dale) Watson, Ronnie (Stacy) Watson, Randy (Kay) Watson, Gary (Lena) Johnson, Mike Johnson and Debby (Kevin) Dlugasch. Rick is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
At the request of Rick and his family, all services will be held privately. May he rest in peace. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
