Rita Perry Obituary

Rita graduated from Harvey High School in Painesville and then moved to the Perry Twp. area where she lived until her passing. She married her loving husband Ralph on October 16, 1954. She was a devoted member of Zion Lutheran Church in Painesville. She enjoyed watching all kinds of sports, tending to her flowers and gardens, bird watching, watching Hallmark movies, and spending time with her family. Rita took pride in being a wonderful homemaker for her family.
She is survived by her son Thomas (Patricia) Perry of Perry and her daughter Debra (Butch) Knauff of Perry; grandchildren Joshua (Sadie) Knauff, Krystle (Christopher) Pomfret, Malissa (Jeremy Smith) Knauff and great grandchildren Logan (Courtney) Perry, Madelynne Perry, and Charles Pomfret. She also leaves her close family friends Ron, Tanya, Ava, and Ayden Holloway. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph in 2015, and sons Richard (2012) and David (1977).
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Perry Cemetery, Middle Ridge and Center Rd., Perry, Ohio at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Travis Henry of Zion Lutheran Church in Painesville will officiate.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Zion Lutheran Church, 508 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio 44077.
