Robert was born June 26, 1954, in Columbus, Ohio to Paul and Betty Collins. Robert was a member of the Moose Lodge of Logan and NAPA Pool Leage. He loved music, cars, Ohio State Buckeys, and woodworking. Robert was a Master Finishing Carpenter by trade. He used to go to carshows and has won many awards. Most of all, Robert loved spending time with the grandkids and his family.
Surviving are his loving wife, Debbie Collins; children, Patrick "Rick" (Karissa) Woods and Shane Collins; grandchildren, Riley Woods, Cameron Woods, Logan Woods, Chase Woods, Raelynn Woods, Gage Collins, Haley Collins, Isabella Collins, Mia Collins, and Laney Collins; and siblings, Sue Walters and Paul (Sunny) Collins Jr.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Betty Collins; and siblings, Ron (Connie) Collins and Danny Collins.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 2, 2024, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home of Logan, Ohio. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed at the funeral home from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Monday, December 2, 2024, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to help with final expenses through the funeral home.
