Robert E. Pritts age 89 of Strabane passed away peacefully, Tuesday, September 3, 2024, in Transitions Healthcare of Washington. He was born October 8, 1934, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Ivan and Florence Neely Pritts. Bob lived his life in the Strabane and Canonsburg area and attended Canonsburg schools. He was a proud veteran who served with the United States Army during the Korean War. Prior to his retirement Bob worked in the maintenance department at Canonsburg Hospital for many years and was an avid Steelers fan, and he loved fishing. Left behind to cherish his memory are his sister-in-law Janice Lee Pritts of Canonsburg, his caretaker nephew, Donald Kevin (Jolynn) Pritts of Washington and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Pritts was the last of his immediate family. Deceased is his wife, Katherine Raymond Pritts, two brothers, Ivan Pritts and Donald “Clyde” Pritts who passed away May 2, 2022, and his nephew Dirk C. Pritts who passed away August 29, 1993.
Friends and family are welcome from 10 am until Noon, the time of services, Friday September 6, 2024, in SALANDRA FUNERAL and CREMATION SERVICES, INC. Joseph P. Interment will follow, with full Military Honors by the VFW Post 191 of Canonsburg and the United States Army in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
