Robert Lee "Bob" Engle, 88, passed away on August 30, 2024, at Broad Acres Health and Rehab in Wellsboro. He was born on January 4, 1936, to the late John Engle and Stella Engle (Spang) in Lebanon. He was an esteemed mechanic in the auto industry and thoroughly enjoyed his time in Tioga County, where he found peace in hiking, observing wildlife, and hunting. His love for the outdoors led him to become a member of the Arnot Sportsman Club and the Little Kutztown Fire Company, where he dedicated his time and efforts to serving the community. Surviving are children Rose M. Kover, Glenn R. Engle (Alma), David A. Engle; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife Alberta M. Engle (Bishop); son Michael L. Engle; siblings John Engle, Lloyd Engle, Stella Miller. A graveside service to commemorate Mr. Engle's life will take place at Ebenezer Cemetery on September 28, 2024, at 1:00 pm.
