It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" Hubbard on October 6th, 2024. Bob was a cherished husband, brother, friend. Born on May 11, 1944, Bob was the beloved son of Erle and Virginia Hubbard, who predeceased him. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Linda (Patch) Hubbard, and his sister Janice Hubbard and brother Craig (Joan). Bob was also a proud uncle to numerous nieces and nephews who will forever remember his warmth, humor, and dedication to those he loved. In his personal life, Bob was known for his love of classic cars and his avid support of local sports teams. He attended car shows, and cheered for his favorite teams. Bob proudly served his country as in the United States Army. A memorial service to celebrate Bob's life will be held on October 26th, 2024, at Hillcrest Methodist Church 9100 Russel Ave. S. Bloomington, MN. Visitation 10:00 service 11:00 luncheon 12:00. Burial at Fort Snelling on October 30th at 1:00. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, a cause close to Bob's heart. Bob's memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
