Robert Louis Koesters, age 84 of McCordsville, Indiana passed away on Sunday morning, September 8, 2024 in McCordsville, Indiana.
Bob was born on January 1, 1940 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a son of Francis Joseph and Violet Katherine (Beck) Koesters. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He married Judith “Judy” Rae Maurer. She preceded him in death.
Bob is survived by one son: Larry Koesters of Napoleon, Ohio.
Three grandchildren: Rudy 26, McKenna 24, and Elle 21.
Bob grew up in the Board Ripple area of Indianapolis and attended Christ the King elementary school.
He then attended Cathedral High School. After high school he went on to Butler University to continue his education.
Throughout Bob's professional career he worked at Upjohn pharmaceutical company, retiring in 1985.
Travel was Bob’s passion. He traveled the world and was in all continents several times.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, located at 7820 Beechmont Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45255.
Mass will begin at 10:00 AM.
Inurnment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Cincinnati.
