Robert James "Bushy" Kupietz passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on September 12, 2024 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Robert was born on December 15, 1952. On May 13, 1972 he married the love of his life LaRayne Schock and they raised three loving daughters. They were blessed with 52 years of marriage.
Robert loved his family, fishing, vehicles, music, and his country. He was always willing to lend a hand, helping others as needed up until his final days. He loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren - his family was his world. When not spending time with his family or fishing you could find him in his shop fixing on cars. He and his wife loved sitting outside watching the hummingbirds, visiting with family and friends, and just spending time together.
Robert served his country proudly. He and his wife owned and operated chicken coops for Gold 'N Plump in Arcadia, WI. He worked for the Army Corp of Engineers for 23 years where he got to spend his days working on the Mississippi River, which is where he also loved spending his time off of work and while enjoying retirement.
Robert is survived by his wife, LaRayne (Schock) Kupietz; his daughters, Bobbi (Brian) Suchla, Misty Keller, Amanda (Barney) Daffinson; grandchildren, Brandon (Taylor), Brenna, Blake, Caydence, Brookelynn, Lachlan; great-grandchildren, Grayson and Keatyn; siblings, Mary (Dave) Berg, Lynn (Bernie) Pronschinske, Tom (Maryanne) Kupietz, Kathy (Andrew) Berry; sister and brothers-in-laws, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Vincent and Arvie. He was greeted in heaven by his loving son-in-law, Alan Keller; parents-in-laws, sister-in-law, brothers-in-laws, family and friends.
