A Vice President of Lipton Tea Company, he was a member of the Church of England and was very interested in English history. Robert enjoyed golf, travel, cruises, the stock market, and gardening. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Survivors include his daughter, Vicky (Joe) August, of Woodstock, Georgia; step-daughter, Beth (John) Asadourian, of Athens, Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Barbara Price, of Edgewater, Florida; two grandsons, Justin (Amanda) Price and Jason Price; granddaughter, Renee (Andres) Guardiola; sister, Jean Gurr, of Canvey Island, England, and brother, Dennis Price, of England.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home with Dr. Gordon Meier, officiating. Burial will follow at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, Edgewater. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at the funeral home.
