Robert (Bobby) Emmett Sullivan, 69, of Cleveland Heights, Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, after a most difficult battle with cancer the past 14 months. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents Robert W. and Kathleen L. (Groucutt) Sullivan, and his loving older brother Bill, and sister Mary Anne Kinney. He leaves behind his loving siblings Kathy Keller, Tom (Leslie), Patricia/Trish and Michael. Bobby was a loving uncle, great-uncle and friend to many folks over the years.
Bobby was a hard-working, skilled painter and maintenance manager, working many years for his brother Tom. He was proud to be able to sustain his work schedule as much as possible, as he battled many different forms of cancer over the last 6+ years. He was a true fighter and contributor as he participated in an experimental drug trial, hoping for results that would help him and provide positive results for others.
Bobby was a voracious reader of literature, history, and current events, remaining well versed in international and national news and politics, with a special love for Ireland. Bobby was a lifetime fan of the Cleveland Indians/ Cleveland Guardians, forever holding out hope for a World Series championship. We thought this was going to be the year! He loved the Cavs as well.
A memorial service will be held in the Spring, with an announcement by the family via Facebook and Instagram. We salute the many dedicated professionals at Hospice of the Western Reserve, for their loving care of our brother. Charitable contributions in Bobby's name can be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve,
