Rogelia Gonzalez Obituary

Rogelia Gonzalez Loza, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on 10/05/2024. Born on August 16, 1937, she lived a vibrant life filled with love, laughter, and the joy of family.
As a devoted mother to six sons, she was the heart of her family. She was known for her sharp wit and sassy remarks, never hesitating to speak her truth, but always with love. Though she lost her husband in 1988, she often reminisced about how handsome he was, cherishing their memories together. She never remarried, for her heart remained with him.
Rogelia had a special fondness for sweets and an enduring love for children. She delighted in watching soap operas, often sharing her favorite storylines with anyone who would listen. Her warmth and humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was the proud sister of three sisters and six brothers, fostering a close-knit family that will carry on her legacy of love and laughter. She is survived by her beloved sister, Josefa.
Rogelia is survived by her six sons, Leon, Jose, Martin, Margarito, Hector, Jesus, and many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her spirit will continue to shine through the lives she touched.
A viewing will be held on 10/9/2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a rosary to be recited at 6 PM at Valley Hills funeral home in Wapato
A funeral Mass will take place 10/10/2024 at 9:00 AM at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, followed by a burial at Wapato Cemetery at 10:00 AM.
A reception will follow at 5071 Evans Rd, Wapato, WA 98951.
