Ronald J. Blanzenski, age 84, died Saturday, January 11, 2025 at his residence. Born in Niagara Falls, New York to Joseph and Josephine Balys Blanzenski; Ronald moved to New Smyrna Beach from Orlando.
A United States Navy veteran, he was a senior engineer in the Aerospace industry; retired from Lockheed Martin; was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, the Republican Club, Knights of Columbus, ARRL AM Radio, and Relay League. Ronald enjoyed golf and loved Ham Radio since he was 16 years old. He was a devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, and loved his grandchildren dearly.
Survivors include his 2 sons, R.Curtis Blanzenski, of Orlando, and Mark (Jean) Hoffman, of Hull, MA; daughter, Cynthia Blanzenski (Don Schafer), of Orlando; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and sister, Jean Szmydke, of New York. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Marsha of 44 years, and brother, Tony.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 27, 2025 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Elkton, Florida with Father Steven Zehler, officiating.
