Services for Ronald "Ron" Connell, 64, of Dunnell, MN, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2024, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Dunnell, MN. Burial will be following the service in Lake Fremont Cemetery in Dunnell, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of service from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2024, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Dunnell, MN. Ron passed away Monday, September 30, 2024, at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. The Kramer Family Funeral Home of Sherburn is assisting the family with arrangements.
Ronald Ray Connell was born on February 17, 1960 to Charles and Marilyn (Holmberg) Connell in Faulkton, South Dakota. He moved with his family to Rapid City and was an 1978 graduate of Rapid City High School. Ron was employed in the Rapid City area until moving to Dunnell in 1993 to be employed at Glasstite for many years. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Dunnell. Ron enjoyed visiting with people and working on and painting cars.
He is survived by his siblings, Dennis (Vickie) Connell of Cresbard, South Dakota, Debra (Craig) Brown Tokach of Wallace, North Carolina, Diane (Ron) Myers of Irvington, Iowa and Steve (Carolyn) Connell of Rapid City, South Dakota; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents and other relatives.
