Ronald Feldhouse Obituary
Meriden is known as the "Crossroads of Connecticut," which may have been auspicious of Ron's lifelong rambling ways. Never one to gather moss, he travelled the United States extensively - side to side & top to bottom. Famously, Ron bicycled from Flagstaff to Fairbanks where, ultimately, he made his home.
When asked about his nomadic tendencies, Ron simply said, "I just don't like being tied down." Fiercely independent, Ron never bought in, never sold out & stayed true to himself til the day he died. Despite a gruff exterior, Ron had a real heart of gold.
Ron told great stories of wilder times but also liked his regular routine. He believed in being honest & was curious to a fault. A hard worker & incredibly resourceful, nothing went to waste on Ron's watch. He could fix absolutely anything.
Ron was much loved by those who knew him & is dearly missed. He leaves behind family & friends across the country. In honor of Ron's free spirit, enjoy a good cup of coffee in a beautiful place & admire the sky.
